“Veolia Djur” CJSC, licensed by the RA Public Services Regulatory Commission on December 9, 2016, provides water and wastewater services to 527,000 active customers. The service area of the Company involves the Capital, 41 towns and 321 rural communities. The goal of “Veolia Djur” CJSC is to improve the quality of the provided services, taking responsibility for operation of the water supply system, development of controllability, modernization of the water distribution network and strategic buildings, operative response to the breakdowns and elimination of the possible consequences thereof, decrease of the water loss and electricity consumption, increase of the water supply continuity, according to the Lease Contract concluded for 15 years. “Veolia Djur” CJSC has committed to ensure 24 hour water supply in its Service Area by 2031.

Veolia Djur, with about 2 566 employees, has committed to ensure the management of the drinking water production and sale and of the wastewater treatment systems, as well as the increase of the efficiency of the distribution networks of the settlements.

In order to solve these problems, the Company has established appropriate Directorates: “North/Hysis” and “South/Harav” Operation Directorates, Commercial, Technical and Lease Contract Management Directorates, etc.  There are also Water Quality, Investments and Development, IT, Human Resources Management, Procurement Departments, as well as Public Relations, Quality, Health & Safety, Commercial Control, Correspondence and other Divisions.

Pursuant to the Contract, Veolia Djur envisages to provide the customers with water supply, sewerage and wastewater treatment services in the amount of 800 million Euro, as well as significant investments from its own resources (mainly for operation, repair and maintenance of the existing systems) and to enrich the state budget with a significant amount as a lease fee for the RA state-owned systems.

The Water Committee of the RA Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Ministry will also participate in solving of the problems proposed by the Lease Contract, planning to implement large-scale projects during the coming years, mainly aimed at construction of various new structures or radical reconstruction and modernization of the operating ones.
